Guidelines for Application for the Governor’s Summer Program The amount of funding awarded to each project will be based on the estimated costs of the proposed program. Institutions should note that one of the considerations in funding is that of geographical distribution of programs across the state. Please note that there is a requirement that applicants secure a minimum of $5,000 in matching funds for support of this program. Universities and colleges are encouraged to use existing resources and collaborate with school districts, agencies, businesses, industries, foundations, or other groups for support of this activity.
