Current List of Administrative Law Judges with the Division of Administrative
Hearings
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act requires that each public agency keeps a list of
persons who serve as Administrative Law Judges (ALJ), and a statement of the qualifications for
the position. We are providing you with the information regarding ALJs who hear special
education cases conducted by the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH). This
information is also located on the DOAH web site at www.doah.state.fl.us.
Additionally, each district is responsible for informing parents of any free or low cost legal and other
relevant services available, when a hearing is initiated. The Pro Bono Directory is available on a biannual
basis through the Bureau.
The most recent addition is 2001 and was provided to you with Bureau
Memorandum #2001-69 on July 23, 2001. Additional copies of this directory may be obtained from the
Clearinghouse/Information Center, Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Instructional Support and
Community Services, Room 614, 325 W. Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0400.
