Certification
The 2002 Florida Legislature enacted legislation requiring that all Automotive
Service Technology programs be industry certified by 2007. The certification process
can take months. The first step is to procure the certification process information.
Information concerning the National Automotive Technicians Education
Foundation (NATEF) certification process can be found on-line at: http://www.natef.org
look under Program Standards.
