Resource Center to learn about educational programs and to receive new classroom
materials. Reproduce NASA software, slides and videotapes, and review lesson plans and
other teaching materials. The ERC is open Monday- Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
You can also tour restricted areas, meet a real astronaut, see IMAX movies and discover
first hand how a field trip can enrich every student’s education.
Where else can you get an "Out of this World" educational experience than Kennedy
Space Center Visitor Complex. Educators and students gather from around the world to
gain first hand experience in exploring the scientific, technological and limitless value of
space exploration. This is the place where history, math, science and international
relations come together! Students meet the people who are making the dream of space
exploration come alive. Youngsters experience the personal rewards of scientific and
technical careers. Most importantly, students are inspired to bring their own dreams to
life -- tomorrow's reality depends on those dreams -- and it all begins right here.
And with every booked field trip, the teacher receives an age-appropriate Educator
Activity Guide. The Kennedy Space Center is proud to offer four exciting and innovative
supplementary activity guides for teachers of grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 to use with
your students. Meeting national teaching standards, it will challenge your students
through a series of problem solving, cooperative learning and exploratory hands-on
activities. Our mission is to help students understand that their dreams today can become
their reality tomorrow. Come share in our excitement!
