EFIS-Educational Plant Survey Available On-Line

The automated procedure for conducting districts’ educational plant surveys is now

available for use. Because the new survey system is a Windows-type application

available on the Internet, we expect that districts will be able to conduct and submit

electronic surveys in a more time-efficient and cost-effective manner.

The Department will accept hard-copy surveys until December 31, 2002. Beginning

January 1, 2003, all educational plant survey submissions must be made using the

Educational Facilities Information System (EFIS).

is available on the Office of

Educational Facilities homepage at: http://www.firn.edu/doe/edfacil/index.htm.
