2002-2003 Weekends with the Experts for Occupational and Physical Therapists
The Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Instructional Support and Community Services, is
pleased to announce the 2002-2003 Weekends with the Experts for Occupational and Physical Therapists.
The workshop provides occupational and physical therapists working in public schools with an
opportunity for continuing education by bringing experts from around the country to Florida. Enclosed is
a flier announcing the Occupational and Physical Therapy Weekends with the Experts program for this
year. Please note that there will be a meeting for all Occupational/Physical Therapy Coordinators on
Thursday, December 5, 2002, from 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. prior to the Weekends with the Experts.
Since there is no registration fee for the workshop, each school district will be allowed to register a given
number of therapists, as determined by district size. This process will provide an opportunity for all
school districts in Florida to participate. Registrations will only be accepted from the Occupational/
Physical Therapy Coordinators in each school district. Please ensure that the Occupational/Physical
Therapy Coordinator completes and returns the enclosed forms with the requested information for each

The
deadline for registration is
November 18, 2002
. After that time, any remaining slots will be open for
school districts that indicated the need for additional participants on their registration.
