2002-2003 Weekends with the Experts for Speech/Language Pathologists
The Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Instructional Support and Community Services, is
pleased to announce the 30
th
Annual Speech/Language Weekends with the Experts. The workshops
provide Speech/Language pathologists working in public schools an opportunity for continuing education
by bringing experts from around the country to Florida. Enclosed is a flier announcing the
Speech/Language Weekends with the Experts program, co-sponsored by the Bureau of Instructional
Support and Community Services and the Florida Comprehensive System of Personnel Development
Project.
Since there is no registration fee for the workshop, each school district will be allowed to register a given
number of pathologists, as determined by district size. This process will provide an opportunity for all
school districts in Florida to participate. Registrations will only be accepted from the Speech/Language
Coordinators in each school district. Please ensure that the Coordinator completes and returns the
enclosed forms with the requested information for each participant to Chantal Vachon, Florida CSPD

. After that time, any additional remaining slots will be open for school districts that indicated the
need for additional participants on their registration.
