Friday, November 1, 2002 is National Family Literacy Day!

Across the country, school based programs, literacy organizations

and families will be celebrating family literacy. This national day will

include hundreds of events organized by family literacy practitioners,

schools, libraries and local sponsors in communities.

Advocacy is part of every organization’s responsibility. It’s important

that you participate in this National Day.

celebrity story readings, book

drives, fundraisers, family learning seminars and literacy
