    SUBJECT:
High School Feedback Report for 2009 Graduates

To assist school districts in preparing Florida’s high school graduates for s
    uccessful transition to
postsecondary education and the workplace, the
    High School Feedback Report

    for 2009

    Graduates
is currently available to the public online at http://data.fldoe.org/readiness. Now in
its fourth year of publication, the
    High School Feedback Report
    provides a comprehensive
snapshot of the 2009 high school graduates’ academic experience. Every public high school that
had graduates in 2009 has an online report. Within the report format are pre-graduation and
post-graduation indicators of college readiness; allowing for comparison of school, district, and
state data. Additionally, there is a built-in feature to view 2007-2009 school, district, and state
level trend data side-by-side. There are several possible approaches for using the feedback data,
all of which can be used to better analyze and plan for improving student learning and
achievement. The Florida Department of Education’s K-20 Education Data Warehouse (EDW) is
the reporting source for the 2009 public high school data and follow-up data for postsecondary
    enrollme
    nt.

    The
    High School Feedback Report
    allows for:

    1.

    viewing and printing 20
04-2009 data for “All Schools” within each district in html
format, and exporting the data to an Excel spreadsheet; and
    2.

viewing and printing 2004-2009 data for all districts relative to state-level data in html

format for each item on the report, and exporting the data to an Excel spreadsheet.
