The Florida Department of Education, Division of Public Schools is currently recruiting for the following

position in Tallahassee:

 

Deputy Chancellor for Educator Quality

 

Serves as the Deputy Chancellor for the Division of Public Schools providing oversight and

leadership for the Education Practices Commission, the Office of Professional Practices Services,

the Bureau of Educator Certification, and the Bureau of Educator Recruitment, Development, and

Retention; provides leadership, support and direction for school district policy for acquiring and

attaining highly effective teachers; administers programs within the areas of Educator

Recruitment and Retention, Professional Development, Educator Certification, and Educator

Practices, Ethics, and Investigations.

 

A doctorate degree in related field is preferred, but not required.

 

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
