Summary:
Attached is a copy of data compiled from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
(DHSMV) for the first quarter of 2008-2009. This report now includes manual additions and deletions by Department
personnel. The names of students transmitted to the DHSMV will be mailed under separate cover to your district’s
Director of Student Services. This information reflects transactions processed for school districts from July 1, 2008-
September 30, 2008.
 
For the first quarter of the school year 2008-2009:
 
497 students received Notices of Intent to Suspend Driving Privileges
 
1,916 Notices of Intent to Suspend Driving Privileges were deleted
 
1,655 Non-Licensed drivers received notices that they were not eligible to apply and receive driver licenses
 
5,442 Non-Licensed/Non-Compliance Orders were deleted
 
623 Suspension Orders were issued
 
1,879 Suspension Orders were cleared or deleted
 
35 students who reinstated their driving privilege received 2nd suspension
