PURPOSE OF PROGRAM:
The purpose of the Technical Assistance and
Dissemination to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities
program is to promote academic achievement and to improve results for children
with disabilities by providing technical assistance, supporting model
demonstration projects, disseminating useful information, and implementing
activities that are supported by scientifically based research.

State Educational Agencies, Local Educational Agencies, including

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM:
The purpose of the program is to develop and
implement two or three year part-time master's degree programs in science,
technology, engineering, mathematics, or critical foreign language education for
teachers in order to enhance the teachers' content knowledge and pedagogical
skills; and to develop programs for professionals in science, technology,
engineering, mathematics, or critical foreign language that lead to a master's
degree in teaching that results in teacher certification.

July 21, 2008.

effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as

individuals with disabilities, especially individuals with the most severe
disabilities.
