School Logins for K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plans
This memorandum is to inform you of the changes that will take place in the submission process
of the K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plan. Each district’s K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plan
requires a listing of reading instructional materials, as well as information about reading
instruction, intervention, and assessment for each school site. In an effort to increase the
accuracy of this information, the Just Read, Florida! office is pleased to announce, for the first
time, a direct school login for the instructional materials charts of the reading plan. We are
asking that principals or their designees complete each chart that corresponds with grades served
by their schools. Chart C corresponds to grades K-5 (6). Chart F corresponds to grades 6-8.
Chart I corresponds to grades 9-12.
It is recommended that principals, or their designees, complete and submit the instructional
materials charts through the direct school login by March 7, 2008. District reading contacts will
then have an opportunity to review the information before submitting all charts to Just Read,
Florida! by March 31, 2008.
