FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF PARTNERS IN EDUCATION CONFERENCE

  

It is my pleasure to announce the Florida Partners in Education Conference, hosted by the Florida

Department of Education and the Florida Association of Partners in Education, which will take place

April 9-11, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. This year’s theme, “Wild

About Student Achievement,”

 

is reflective of the association’s commitment to present the most

current issues in education and community involvement.

All district, school, and community personnel who are interested in enhancing community involvement

in education will be in attendance. The workshops and general sessions feature nationally known

speakers, as well as the state’s most knowledgeable practitioners. Lunch and evening events will

honor Florida’s Outstanding School Volunteers, superintendents recognized for their support of

volunteer/community programs, and winners of the Commissioner’s Business Recognition Awards.
