2008-2009 Dr. Philip Benjamin Matching Program for Community Colleges -
Final Certification of Private Contributions
To assist the Florida Department of Education in meeting Strategic Imperative Seven, “Aligning
Financial Resources with Performance,” the Community College System must allocate resources
used to improve student and institutional performance.
The purpose of this memorandum is to advise you that the 2008-2009 Dr. Philip Benjamin
Matching Program for Community Colleges Final Certification of Private Contributions form
has been distributed to your college’s Foundation Director and Business Officer in electronic
format. Private contributions, for which matching funds are requested, must be received by
February 1, 2008.
To summarize the colleges’ requests and transmit it to the Governor’s Office in a timely manner,
please complete and submit the form, no later than
February 8, 2008.

The Foundation Directors also received the Certification of Accuracy of Private Contributions
form. This form is to be completed and returned with the 2007-2008 Direct Support
Organization’s audit report to Everett Condry, Director of Financial Services, at the above
