K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plan Regional Technical Assistance Workshops
In preparation for the 2008-2009 implementation of your district K-12 Comprehensive Reading
Plan, we are pleased to announce a series of technical assistance meetings at seven locations around
the state during the month of January. During these meetings, we will review the new guidance
document, as well as feature the new online system for inputting of the K-12 Comprehensive
Reading Plan.
Due to limited space at some of the venues, we are asking that districts send teams of no more than
eight educators to the technical assistance meetings. We recognize that large districts with area
offices may need to send eight educators from each area office. Conversely, small districts may not
need to send eight educators, as their duties may overlap. The district team may be composed of:
Superintendent or Designee
