Registered Apprenticeship Survey

There is an important need to improve the accuracy of information being reported

regarding programs taught using the apprenticeship method of instruction. School

districts and community colleges are reporting many students as apprenticeship

students that are no indentured in apprenticeship programs with a recognized sponsor,

registered with the state apprenticeship registration agency. Only programs confirmed

by sponsor-provided information will be funded with Workforce Development Education

Fund dollars.

The Department of Education (DOE) is compiling a table of approved “registered”

apprenticeship programs that are partnered with a school district postsecondary center

or a community college to provide the “related training instruction.” Current registered

apprenticeship programs on file with DOE may be viewed online at the following

address:

Please review and update the appropriate community college or district

information. If there is any information that is not in your files but listed on the web page

for your district or community college, your local Apprenticeship Training Representative

(ATR) or your program sponsor will be able to assist you (
