Summary:
Attached is a copy of data compiled from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
(DHSMV) for the third quarter of 2006-2007. This report now includes manual additions and deletions by
department personnel. The names of students transmitted to the DHSMV will be mailed under separate cover
to your district’s Director of Student Services. This information reflects transactions processed for school
districts from January 1, 2007, through March 31, 2007.
For the third quarter of the school year 2006-2007:

4,045 students received Notices of Intent to Suspend Driving Privileges
•

7,713 Notices of Intent to Suspend Driving Privileges were deleted
•
?
10,500 Non-Licensed drivers received notices that they were not eligible to apply and receive driver
licenses
•

20,850 Non-Licensed/Non-Compliance Orders were deleted
•
?
3,045 Suspension Orders were issued
•
?
2,784 Suspension Orders were cleared or deleted
•
?
132 students who reinstated their driving privilege received 2nd suspension
