CONFERENCE AND INNOVATION FAIR

SAVE-THE-DATE

The 2007 K-12 Conference and Innovation Fair will be held October 2-5, 2007, at the Caribe

Royale Orlando. It will begin on the evening of Tuesday, October 2, and conclude mid-day on

Friday, October 5. The format will be similar to last year’s event and will include keynote

speakers, break-out sessions to share best practices, and an Innovation Fair to highlight

successful reform programs and provide state-appropriated funds to replicate these programs in

other schools.

Hotel reservations can be made at the Caribe Royale Orlando by calling (407) 238-8000 or

(800) 823-8300. A room rate of $149 per night has been secured in the “2007 K-12 Conference”

room block.

More information including a draft agenda, presenter Call for Proposals, and conference

registration will be available at www.fldoe.org/k12/conference on May 1, 2007.
