DATE:

SUBJECT:
“All American Success Story”
The Department of Education is pleased to unveil an exciting new
campaign designed to increase the awareness of successful Workforce
Education programs to legislators and other stakeholders responsible
for making decisions about the continuation of your programs.
Your success stories will:
showcase for all stakeholders in the state, the real
success stories of students who participated in Technical
Education and Adult Education programs, and now have
highly successful careers;
illustrate the potential impact of Technical and Adult
Education on an individual’s and the state’s economic
growth;
demonstrate results of integrated academics and
technical programs; and
increase the awareness of Technical and Adult Education
statewide for public and policymakers.
The success stories will be compiled and disseminated as a publication
to stakeholders around the state. We are committed to completing this
product by the first week in November. With this in mind, please
prepare and return the application on or before September 27, 2002.
This will be a critical document to use as we prepare to seek additional
funding for Technical and Adult Education for the next fiscal year.
