    Certification of Private Contributions

    To assist the Florida Department of Education in meeting Strategic Imperative Seven, Aligning
    Financial Resources with Performance, the Community College System must allocate resources
    used to improve student and institutional performance.
     
    The purpose of this memorandum is to advise you that the 2007-2008 Dr. Philip Benjamin
    Matching Program for Community Colleges Final Certification of Private Contributions form
    has been distributed to your college’s Foundation Director and Business Officer in electronic
    format. Private contributions, for which matching funds are requested, must have been received
    between February 2, 2006 and February 1, 2007.
     
    To summarize the colleges’ requests and transmit them to the Governor’s Office in a timely
    manner, complete and submit the form no later than
    February 23, 2007.
