2007-2008 Technical Assistance Meeting for Selected No Child Left Behind
(NCLB) Programs
The Bureau of Student Assistance is hosting this year’s Technical Assistance Meeting on
April 23-25, 2007. The meeting will provide information and assistance to Title I Directors,
District Coordinators and any staff responsible for developing the application for the federal
programs listed below. In addition, the first day will include presentations by the Division of
Accountability, Research & Measurement concerning Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and by
the Bureau of School Improvement on issues surrounding school improvement and restructuring.
The second day will consist of multiple sessions that will provide detailed program assistance to
the attendees. The third day will offer a repeat of the sessions offered on day two so attendees
have the opportunity to attend sessions on multiple Titles.

The 2007-2008 Technical Assistance Meeting for Selected NCLB Programs will be held at the
Marriott Orlando Downtown located at 400 West Livingston Street, Orlando, Florida 32801. A
block of rooms has been reserved under the name of “No Child Left Behind Title Grant.”
Reservations must be made by Saturday, March 24, 2007, in order to obtain the special room rate
of $99 for single, $109 for double, $119 for triple, and $129 for quad. You may make your hotel

The Title I Programs and Academic Intervention Services Web site will be hosting the online
