INVITATION TO FLORIDA’S READING ADOPTION
QUESTION/ANSWER SEMINAR
In an effort to better communicate the rules, requirements, and expectations of the 2007-2008
Reading Adoption, your district is invited to send your district administrator for instructional
materials and your district reading contact(s) to Tallahassee, Florida, February 23, 2007. The
seminar will begin at 9:00 AM and end at Noon and will be held at 325 West Gaines Street,
Room 1721/25, Turlington Building. This seminar, hosted by the offices of Just Read, Florida!
and Instructional Materials, will provide an opportunity for district personnel not only to hear
from the Department of Education, but also to ask questions about the reading adoption.
Please instruct district attendees to fill out the attached registration form and either mail, e-mail,
or fax it to Charlie Carraway in the Office of Instructional Materials. Contact information is
included on the registration form.
