Subject: INVITATION TO FLORIDA’S STATE INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

COMMITTEE TRAINING

 

Your district is invited to send your district administrator for instructional materials and a

district contact for reading to the 2007-2008 June training of the State Instructional

Materials Committees, which begins Wednesday morning, June 6 and ends Thursday

afternoon, June 7, 2007, at the Orlando Marriott in Lake Mary, Florida. This training is

hosted by the offices of Just Read, Florida! and Instructional Materials. District

personnel will receive invaluable information regarding the adoption process and the

research that forms the basis of our reading specifications and training. There is a $25

per district registration fee to attend the training.

 

Please instruct district attendees to fill out the attached registration form and either mail,

e-mail, or fax it to Charlie Carraway in the Office of Instructional Materials.

Registrations should be received no later than May 1, 2007. Contact information is

included on the registration form.
