2002-03 Weekend with the Experts on Severe Disabilities

The Bureau of Instructional Support and Community Services is pleased to announce the

schedule for the 2002-03 Weekend with the Experts on Severe Disabilities. For the purpose of

this series, the term “severe disabilities” refers to students identified as severely or profoundly

mentally handicapped, autistic, or profoundly handicapped. In an effort to make the workshops

accessible to more staff members, we are offering three regional workshops and have more than

doubled the number of participants that we can accommodate. The number of participants

allowed from each district will be based on district size. Very large and large districts will be

allotted five spaces, medium and medium-small districts four spaces, and small districts three

spaces.
