Basic Skills Assessment Technical Assistance Paper Revision

State Board Rule 6A-10.040, addressing assessment of career and technical education students,

has been amended. The attached technical assistance paper was revised to help you and

members of your staff understand these changes. These amendm

ents align with the

Department’s Strategic Imperative 2: Set, Align and Apply Academic Curricular and Testing

Standards.

The Division of Community Colleges and Workforce Education, Standards, Benchmarks and

Frameworks Unit, has made this revision to be in accordance with state and Federal mandates.

These standards have been incorporated into this document.
