As we prepare for the new year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your hard

work and commitment in support of teachers and students over the past year. With all of us

working together, I have no doubt that we will change the face of Florida’s educational future.

Attached please find a new Question and Answer document for the K-12 Comprehensive

Reading Plan. Many of you have asked for guidance on selected issues such as assessment and

the role of the reading/literacy coach. This document attempts to pull together your collective

questions and concerns.
