?
Process
?
A school district’s Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Student Enrollment forecast is an important source of
information for the legislative appropriations process. The Department of Education’s FTE forecast
software is used by districts to create an FTE forecast for the 2007-08 budget year.
Enrollment forecasting workshops have been scheduled for November 27 through November 29. The
workshops on November 27 and 28 will target new staff or staff with limited experience forecasting FTE
enrollment. The workshops on November 29 will review the enrollment forecasting process for more
experienced forecasters. Participants should register by November 21, 2006, for the workshop that best
meets their need. Please see the attachment for details.
The 2007-08 FTE student enrollment forecast for your district is due to the Department of Education by
close of business on December 15, 2006.
Thank you for your assistance in making the FTE forecasting process as accurate and timely as possible.
