SUBJECT: Technical Assistance Paper, Charter School Improvement Plans
In support of the State Board of Education’s imperative to increase the quantity and improve the
quality of educational options for Florida’s families, the Department is pleased to provide this
technical assistance paper (TAP) on Charter School Improvement Plans. Recently enacted
legislation, HB 7103, added new academic accountability requirements for charter schools
graded D or F. This document summarizes those requirements, including the development and
implementation of school improvement plans.
