Technical Assistance Paper, Charter Schools Capital Outlay Funding
In support of the State Board of Education’s imperative to increase the quantity and improve the
quality of educational options for Florida’s families, the Department is pleased to provide this
technical assistance paper (TAP) on Charter Schools Capital Outlay Funding. The TAP provides
guidance on the recently enacted modification to the charter schools capital outlay funding
statute. This document summarizes the changes to the fixed capital outlay distribution formula
and answers questions that the Department is frequently asked about charter school capital outlay
funding.
