INVITATION TO THE NCLB SCHOOL CHOICE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT FOR
    2006

We are pleased to announce the 2006 NCLB School Choice Leadership Summit to be held on
July 12-13, 2006, in Orlando, Florida. This Summit provides a statewide forum for promoting
successful and effective implementation of NCLB public school choice. The program will
include state information updates and technical assistance related to such topics as contract
management; development, implementation, and evaluation of the Parent District Provider
Agreements; monitoring and evaluation; and parent outreach efforts. In addition, keynote
speaker Nina Rees will share a national perspective and explore promising practices for
ensuring high quality options for parents and stud
    ents.

We encourage school districts to send a team of participants representing school and district
Title I and NCLB school choice administrators. This is a mandatory meeting for all state-
approved providers according to the Request for Applications for 2006-2007 school year.
