Technical Assistance Paper, Charter School Program Subgrant Awards to

Schools with Pre-K Students

We are pleased to provide this technical assistance paper (TAP) designed to provide guidance to

charter school administrators to clarify the regulations regarding the Federal Charter School

Program Subgrant awards to schools with Pre-K students. Charter School Program grant funds

or items purchased with these funds cannot support pre-school grades. Subgrant awards are

intended to support elementary and secondary education.
