    SUBJECT: Educator Recruitment Service For Florida K-12 School Districts
    In our continuing effort to assist you with recruiting qualified education personnel for all
    Florida public school districts, I am pleased to announce the expansion of web-based
    recruitment services through www.Teachers-Teachers.com. This service is designed to
    help school district recruiters meet the challenges of placing the most qualified
    education professionals in our schools in all subject areas.
    A full membership to the

    service has been purchased by the
    Florida Department of Education for all Florida school districts for one year beginning
    May 1, 2006. Membership to the service will enable district staff charged with personnel
    recruitment to:

    post job openings for all education personnel, including teachers, administrators,
    speech pathologists, and other related service personnel

    conduct customized searches for candidates from a pool of over 20,000 certified
    candidates interested in teaching in Florida

    send e-mails to large pools of candidates alerting them to your district’s job

    Florida public school districts currently registered for special education only
    memberships with Teachers-Teachers.com pursuant to the Florida Special
    Education Recruitment Initiative will be able to post vacancies and search the
    candidate database in ALL subject areas beginning May 1, 2006.
    Florida public school districts that are not currently registered with Teachers-
    Teacher.com can begin the registration process by visiting www.Teachers-
    Teachers.com/Florida. On that site, click “Register Now” located beneath the
    Florida
    Recruiters
    heading. After you have registered, you will be contacted by Dave
    Pfisterer, the Florida Recruitment Coordinator for Teachers-Teachers.com. Dave
    will provide you with an overview of the service and training on its multiple uses and
    will continue to provide ongoing assistance throughout your membership.
