The Principal Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership honors the contribution of an elite group

schools have increased student performance and established safe learning environments for our children.
Thus, recognizing indi

Department of Education, and we strongly encourage each district to participate in this prestigious
recognition program.

Districts may nominate one principal from each of three school levels: elementary, middle or high school.
District nominees compete only within their school levels and their respective Department of Education
reporting regions. From the nominations, one principal per school level is selected for each of the five
regions. The state winners will be announced in the fall at the Commissioner’s Summit for Principals,
hosted by the Florida Department of Education and the Florida Association of School Administrators
(FASA).
Thank you for your continued support of this program. We look forward to receiving the nomination
materials for your district nominees no later than
