Call for Proposals, 2006 Just Read, Florida! Leadership Conference
The annual Just Read, Florida! Leadership Conference is scheduled July 10-12, 2006, at the Walt
Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The 2006 Leadership Conference promises to be a unique
experience for each educator attending, with greater choice provided through hundreds of breakout
sessions. Furthermore, this conference will feature numerous sessions presented by principals,
reading coaches, and district leaders, giving you the opportunity to hear about the great literacy
initiatives taking place in schools throughout our state. We would be honored if you could attend.
Additional information will be forthcoming about the registration process.
As we prepare for the upcoming conference, we are issuing a Call for Proposals from educators
across the state. Proposals from real principals and coaches in real schools will have first priority for
selection, and team presentations are encouraged. Please encourage your colleagues to submit the
attached proposal to celebrate and highlight all of your hard work! Please send the proposals
electronically on or before March 31, 2006, to Terri Harrison at Terri.Harrison@fldoe.org. Please
include
2006 Just Read, Florida! K-12 Leadership Conference
in the subject line.
We would appreciate your assistance in forwarding this information to educators across your district.
