SUBJECT: General Revenue Breakfast Allocation Fiscal Year 2005-2006

Enclosed is a listing of the estimated General Revenue Breakfast earnings you will receive for the fiscal
year 2005-2006. Distributions will be based upon each district’s pro rata share of the total available
amount of $7,590,912. The pro rata shares per district are calculated based on the free and reduced price
breakfasts reported on Form ESE-080 for the fiscal year 2004-2005. Equal payments of one fourth of the
total calculated preliminary amount will be distributed in the first three quarters of the fiscal year.

Proviso language from specific Appropriation 105 of the 2005
    G
    eneral Appropriations Act specifies that
the per breakfast amount that will be reimbursed to the districts is based on the difference between the
average federal reimbursements for free and reduced price breakfasts and the average costs for breakfasts.
The final amount cannot be determined until the average figures have been calculated. The amount you
receive in the final payment by electronic fund transfer during May 2006 will be calculated by subtracting
your total entitlement (the maximum per breakfast amount multiplied by the total breakfasts reported) by
the amount you received during the first three quarters.
