Submission of personnel email addresses
Thank you to all districts that submitted personnel e-mail addresses to the Department in 2005,
helping us improve our means of communicating with you on important education issues. Please
be reminded that Florida Statute requires districts to submit them twice annually:
“By September 15 and February 15 of each year, each school district shall
?
electronically submit accurate public school e-mail addresses for all instructional and
?
administrative personnel, as identified in s.1012.01(2) and (3), to the Department of
?
Education.” Florida Statutes, 1012.06(3)(b).

Please send separate files for instructional and administrative personnel. The format for both is
an Excel file with separate columns for first name, last name, school name, and e-mail address.

245-5030 or SunCom 205-5030 if additional questions arise.
Previously, several larger districts submitted one e-mail address that will deliver to all of their
personnel. This may reduce problems with your server, and is acceptable for meeting the
requirements of the statute. The Department of Education will not release these e-mail addresses
to any outside entity. We appreciate your compliance.
