Schedule of Statewide Bureau Sponsored Meetings for January-June 2006
The Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS) continue to focus on
providing information and program professional development to school district personnel in
Florida. In an effort to assist districts with appropriate planning and allocation of personnel and
resources, please find attached a calendar of statewide events and professional development
meetings sponsored and/or supported by BEESS. The intent of this bi-yearly planning calendar
is to allow district administration the advantage of an overview of upcoming events through the
paperless communication system. As individual meeting and workshop dates approach, the
program contacts and targeted personnel will receive additional information (registration
deadlines, contact information, and tentative agendas) through electronic mail.
Though this document provides an overview of scheduled events and locations, a variety of
influences may require changes to the location or date of a planned meeting. All interested
parties should verify scheduled meeting information prior to making travel plans. Continue
checking the Bureau calendar at http://www.firn.edu/doe/commhome/index.html for regional
meetings scheduled throughout 2006.
