Exceptional Student Education Rule Revision Public Comment Meetings
In an effort to ensure quality efficient services for students with disabilities, the following State Board of
Education rules have been reviewed and proposed revisions made by stakeholder workgroups during the
spring of 2005. The rules were scheduled for public comment on November 1 and 2, 2005; however, the
meeting in Ft. Lauderdale was postponed due to the effects of Hurricane Wilma. We are pleased to notify
those interested in the public comment opportunity that the meeting has been rescheduled for December 7,
2005. After reviewing, if you have comments or questions regarding the draft revised rules, please contact
the following program specialists for assistance.
