Coordinator of Legislative Policy

I am pleased to announce that Stacey Webb will join the staff of the Florida

Community College System (FCCS) as the Coordinator of Legislative Policy.

Stacey will begin her half-time position with the Division of Community Colleges

on August 12, 2002.

Stacey comes to the FCCS from the Florida House of Representatives where she

served as Staff Director of the Community Colleges and Career Prep (now

Workforce and Technical Skills) Committee and most recently as Senior

Legislative Analyst in the Majority Office. She has extensive knowledge of the

Florida Community College System and the legislative process.

She will coordinate legislative policy for our system in cooperation with Division

and K-20 policy and program staff and be a valuable resource. Her recent

experience with the Legislature will bring valuable knowledge and experience to

Stacey earned the Masters in Public Administration from the University of Central

Florida and has completed coursework toward a doctoral degree in Public

Administration at Florida State University. Stacey is proud to be a product of the

Florida Community College System – she attended Valencia Community College

in Orlando before transferring to Stetson University to complete her Bachelor of

Arts degree in Geography.
