SUBJECT: Final Capital Outlay Full-Time Equivalent Forecast

This document is intended to assist school districts in facilities planning. Through this and other

types of assistance, the Office of Funding and Financial Reporting supports the mission of

Florida’s K-20 education system to increase the proficiency of all students within one seamless

efficient system.

The attached report is the final forecasted Capital Outlay Full-Time Equivalent (COFTE) by

year, grade, and school district for 2005. Actual COFTE shown are those reported for the four

most recent years (2001-02 through 2004-05). Also shown are final forecasted COFTE for the

next 11 years (2005-06 through 2015-2016).
