Annual Florida Symposium on Early Childhood Hearing Loss
In an effort to assist school districts in providing quality efficient services for young children with hearing
loss, we are pleased to provide you with information regarding the 5
th
Annual Florida Symposium on Early
Childhood Hearing Loss. The Symposium will be September 30 – October 1, 2005, in St. Augustine, Florida,
with a half-day pre-session on Thursday, September 29, 2005. The Florida Department of Education, Bureau
of Exceptional Education and Student Services, is participating as one of the co-sponsors of this meeting
which will offer an excellent training opportunity for district staff. Our participation as a co-sponsor will
enable each school district to receive
a waiver of the conference registration fee for two (2) district staff
members.
The Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services will not reimburse any other travel
related costs associated with this meeting.
We invite you to identify up to two (2) staff members who work directly with young children with hearing
loss and an educational audiologist for this registration fee waiver opportunity. Attached you will find a
flyer with additional detailed information regarding the conference and a Registration Fee Waiver Request.
The conference registration and registration fee waiver forms should be submitted directly to the Florida
