2005 Capital Outlay Full-Time Equivalent (COFTE) Forecast

 

This document is intended to assist school districts in facilities planning. Through this and other types of assistance,

the Office of Funding and Financial Reporting supports the mission of Florida’s K-20 education system to increase

the proficiency of all students within one seamless efficient system.

  

The attached report tabulates actual and projected COFTE by year, grade, and school district. Actual COFTE shown

are those reported for the four most recent years (2001-02 through 2004-05). Also shown are forecasted COFTE for

the next 11 years (2005-06 through 2015-2016).

  

Please have the appropriate district personnel review this information and contact Mr. Kirk Hudson as to the

acceptability of these projections by Friday, July 22, 2005. Mr. Hudson may be reached by telephone at (850) 245-

25, 2005.
