2005-2006 Title III, Part A, Request for Application
Recently, regional workshops were held by the Bureau of Student Assistance to provide training
to school district representatives on the 2005-2006 On-Line Project Application Process for
selected programs under No Child Left Behind. The on-line application is now available at:
http://data.fldoe.org/titelgrants/.
We are pleased to provide you with the attached Request for Application (RFA) for the 2005-
2006 Title III, Part A,
English Language Acquisition
, which includes the grant overview, federal
and fiscal requirements, and the application process. It is important to note that the project design
part of the application requires each school district to describe measurable goals, objectives, and
strategies, which identify how the funds will be used and how the project implementation will

Only the Project Application (Form DOE 100A) with original signature is to be submitted; the
actual application is to be submitted using the on-line application process. The logon and
password to access the application are the district name and district number. Once you enter into
the system, you will be required to change your password. Prior to accessing the on-line project
application, each school district is required to first determine which, if any, of the project
applications will be submitted via a consolidated application.
