The Department is pleased to announce the availability of the brochure detailing the
New FCAT
NRT, the Stanford Achievement Test Series, Tenth Edition

), on the
Department Web site. The brochure outlines differences between the
SAT9
and
SAT10
and
provides specifications of the classifications and composition of the Reading and Mathematics

The SAT10 is a nationally normed assessment utilized by the Department to compare the
performance of Florida students to a national sample. This comparison helps ensure the
highest achievement for all Florida students by creating an efficient educational system that is
responsive to educational research and the concerns of students, parents, educators, and other
community members.
