It is my pleasure to announce the Florida Partners in Education Conference, hosted by the Florida

Department of Education and the Florida Association of Partners in Education, that will take place April

13-15, 2005, at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando. This year’s theme,

is reflective of our state’s commitment to continuous improvement in every area of

education.

All district, school, and community personnel who are interested in enhancing community involvement in

education will want to attend. This year’s workshops and general sessions feature nationally known

speakers, as well as the state’s most knowledgeable practitioners. Each day, lunch and evening events will

honor Florida’s Outstanding School Volunteers, winners of the Commissioner’s Business Recognition

Awards, and winners of the Florida Mentoring Partnership Awards and Sunshine Medallion Awards.
