    Electronic Fingerprinting Services
    New Applicant Pool
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation will soon be required to submit
all real estate applicant background checks through an electronic format. There has been a
request from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation that its applicants be
allowed to access the fingerprinting machines located at each public school district. The
Department of Education would like feedback from each local school district to determine if
districts would be willing to participate in the addition of the real estate applicants into their
    printing programs.
The inclusion of real estate applicants would function similarly to those applicants seeking an
insurance license in that your district would receive $5.00 for each print taken. Please indicate
your district’s choice to participate or not, and direct your response to Marian Lambeth at the
email address above. Your response is appreciated.
