Teaching Content Reading in Middle and High Schools

Competency One of the Reading Endorsement

This program is funded through a grant from

the Florida Department of Education’s

Just Read, Florida! Office.

This free online course fully satisfies Competency One of the reading endorsement. Students

may choose to take the course for graduate credit or inservice. If graduate credit is awarded,

students must cover the cost of tuition.

The Center for Educational Research and Policy Studies (CERPS) at Florida State

University FSU) is coordinating the online course and registration.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning February 14, 2005, and is limited

to Florida public school teachers. Registration priority will be given to teachers in grades six

through twelve and middle and high school teams.

March 27 – June 4, 2005

April 10 – June 18, 2005
