    (Title II-D Competitive Proposal Submission)
In response to the tremendous disruption caused by recent storms, the due date for submission of 2004-05
EETT competitive proposals has been extended to November 23, 2004.
    Please notify appropriate staff in
your district of this important schedule revision. This formal extension applies to all school districts. It is our
hope that this adjustment will facilitate participation by as many districts as possible. Please note that October
19, 2004 was the original due date issued with the 2004-05 EETT Competitive Application/RFP.
A formal extension is not needed concerning the formula (Part I) component of the program. September 30,
2004 was established as a target due date for EETT Part I applications, however applications for formula
funding can be accepted for processing after that date.
If you or staff in your district have specific questions regarding the EETT program, please contact Charles
Proctor at: 850/245-0514, SC 205-0514, e-mail: Charles.Proctor@fldoe.org. Project applications, reporting
guidance, and other pertinent program information may be obtained from the Office of Educational Technology
    website (http://www.doe.firn.edu/edtech/).
