POSTPONED
: 2004 Annual Charter School Conference
Due to the extraordinary hardships imposed on our charter schools and school districts from the recent
wrath of several hurricanes, we have decided to postpone the 2004 Annual Charter School Conference
and Pre-Conference activities.
Through our partnership with the Florida Charter School Resource Center at USF, we will be strategically
targeting technical assistance, training activities, and workshops for schools and districts, based on
specific needs. We will also be intensifying our state efforts to provide technical assistance papers and
greater access to state resources as policies and procedures are revised to accommodate scheduling and
reporting date changes.
Again, the 2004 Annual Charter School Conference and Pre-Conference, originally scheduled for
November 8-10, 2004 in Orlando, Florida,
is postponed
until later next year. You will be notified about
the new dates for the conference once it has been officially rescheduled.
If you need information or assistance, please contact the Florida Charter School Resource Center at 1-
800-214-4247 (http://www.charterschools.usf.edu/) or our office at (850) 245-0502.
We wish you all the best in your reconstructive efforts.
